البيانات النصية ( #strings ) هي سلسلة من الحروف المدخلة من قبل المستخدم من الكيبورد تسمى #سلسلة_نصية strings. وتعرف في لغة الجافا على أنها #نصوص و الـ String هو كل ما يدخل من الكيبورد يدخل على شكل سلاسل نصية.
